“A blank page is God's way of telling you how hard it is to be God.”
What this quote means
The blank page is both an invitation and a challenge. It symbolizes infinite potential, but also the difficulty of creating something new. Sheldon compares this task to God's, highlighting the immense responsibility. It resonates with any creator: the anxiety of the empty page, but also the excitement of being able to invent anything. This quote applies when we feel paralyzed by the start of a project, reminding us that even gods have their struggles.
How to apply it daily
Facing a blank page, write three random words without thinking. Follow with a full sentence. The block fades, momentum returns.
