“There is nothing like a dream to create the future. Utopia today, flesh and blood tomorrow.”
What this quote means
Victor Hugo asserts that the dream is the engine of the future. What seems utopian today can become reality tomorrow. Great advances were first bold dreams. This quote invites us not to fear utopia, but to see it as a step toward the concrete. It applies in innovation, politics, or social change.
How to apply it daily
Choose a utopia that matters to you and identify a small action to make it more tangible today.
