Tony Robbins, born Anthony J. Mahavorick on February 29, 1960, in North Hollywood, California, is an American author, motivational speaker, and entrepreneur. He began his career organizing seminars for Jim Rohn and trained in neuro-linguistic programming with John Grinder. In 1983, he founded Robbins Research International and became a millionaire by age 24. Author of several bestsellers, including 'Unlimited Power' and 'Awaken the Giant Within', he also founded the Tony Robbins Foundation in 1991. He chairs a holding company of over 120 private businesses.
