“Action on the move creates its own route, creates to a very great extent the conditions under which it is to be fulfilled and thus baffles all calculation.”

What this quote means

Bergson describes action as an unpredictable process that creates itself as it moves. You can't foresee everything; by acting, you discover opportunities and obstacles that didn't exist before. This thought invites boldness: rather than over-planning, you must launch, because action itself shapes its path. For entrepreneurs, creatives, or anyone facing a decision, it's an encouragement to embrace uncertainty and trust in momentum.
