“God laughs at the plans of men.”
What this quote means
This quote evokes humility before divine plans: human schemes, however elaborate, are trivial before God's will. It resonates in moments when we realize our certainties and projects can be overturned by forces beyond us. It applies when we cling too tightly to our expectations and forget that the future is uncertain.
How to apply it daily
Release your rigid plans. Embrace the unexpected as a possibility, trusting in a larger design.
