About
Isaac Asimov, born in Russia and emigrated to the United States in 1923, was an American writer and biochemist. He earned a Ph.D. in biochemistry from Columbia University and taught at Boston University School of Medicine before turning to writing full-time. He is renowned for his science fiction works, particularly the Foundation series and his robot stories, where he formulated the Three Laws of Robotics. He wrote or edited nearly 500 books, spanning science, history, and mystery. He won numerous awards, including Hugo and Nebula Awards, and was named Grand Master by the Science Fiction Writers of America.
