About
Dean Martin, born Dino Paul Crocetti in Steubenville, Ohio, was a major figure in American entertainment. After early jobs as an amateur boxer and croupier, he formed a successful comedy duo with Jerry Lewis (1946-1956). As a member of Frank Sinatra's Rat Pack, he pursued a prolific solo career: hits like 'That's Amore' and 'Everybody Loves Somebody', films (Rio Bravo, Ocean's Eleven), and a hit TV show (The Dean Martin Show, 1965-1974). Nicknamed 'The King of Cool', he embodied a relaxed elegance.
