Biography

Lucius Annaeus Seneca was a Roman Stoic philosopher, statesman, and dramatist who lived from 4 BC to 65 AD. He was a tutor and advisor to Emperor Nero and is known for his writings on Stoic philosophy, particularly on the subjects of death, tranquility, and the good life. His works include "Letters from a Stoic" and "On the Shortness of Life".
