Yasmina Reza, born May 1, 1959, in Paris, is a major figure in contemporary theater. After studying sociology and theater, she achieved early success with her play 'Conversations After a Burial' (1986), which won a Molière Award. Her play 'Art' (1994) brought her international fame, winning numerous awards including a Tony Award. She repeated this success with 'God of Carnage' (2006), which was also adapted into a film. Reza is also the author of critically acclaimed novels, such as 'Babylone' (2016), winner of the Prix Renaudot, and a narrative about Nicolas Sarkozy's presidential campaign. Her work explores social tensions and human relationships with biting humor.
