William Feather, born August 25, 1889 in Jamestown, New York, and died January 7, 1981, was an American publisher and author based in Cleveland, Ohio. After studying at Western Reserve University, he began his career as a reporter for the Cleveland Press. In 1916, he founded The William Feather Magazine, which he edited until his death, and in 1919, the William Feather Company, a commercial printing business. His best-known book, The Business of Life, was published in 1949. He also wrote for The American Mercury and a newspaper feature called 'A Business Man's Philosophy'. He retired in 1959.
