W. Clement Stone (1902-2002) was an American entrepreneur and philanthropist. He founded the Combined Insurance Company of America in 1922 with a $100 loan, which later became Aon Corporation. He is known for his self-help books, including 'Success Through a Positive Mental Attitude' (1960) co-authored with Napoleon Hill, and 'The Success System That Never Fails' (1962). He also co-founded Success Unlimited magazine and established the W. Clement & Jessie V. Stone Foundation. He received numerous honors, including induction into the Horatio Alger Association and a nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize.
