Souha Arafat, born Souha Daoud Tawil on July 17, 1963, in Jerusalem, is a Palestinian figure. From a wealthy Christian family, she studied at the Sorbonne and secretly married Yasser Arafat in 1990. She became First Lady of the Palestinian Authority in 1994. After her husband's death in 2004, she moved to Tunisia and later to Malta. She had Arafat's body exhumed in 2012 to investigate possible poisoning.
