About
Sacha Baron Cohen is a British comedian and actor born in London in 1971. A history graduate from Cambridge University, he gained fame with the character Ali G in the late 1990s. He then created the satirical Borat and Brüno, which brought him international renown. His film Borat (2006) earned him a Golden Globe and an Oscar nomination. He alternates provocative comedies and dramatic roles, such as in Les Misérables (2012) and The Trial of the Chicago 7 (2020). Committed against hatred, he received the Anti-Defamation League's award in 2019.
