Renaud Camus, full name Jean Renaud Gabriel Camus, is a French writer and essayist born on August 10, 1946, in Chamalières. A prolific author of more than 150 works, he is known for his novel 'Tricks' (1979), prefaced by Roland Barthes, and received the Prix Fénéon in 1977 for 'Échange' and the Prix Amic from the Académie française in 1996. He is also the originator of the 'Great Replacement' theory and founded the Party of In-nocence in 2002. He resides at the Château de Plieux, where he has organized art exhibitions.
