Philippe Sollers, born Philippe Joyaux, was a French writer born in 1936 in Talence and died in 2023 in Paris. He left a significant mark on French literary life through his avant-garde commitment. Founder of the journal Tel Quel in 1960, he was a central figure of structuralism and post-modern thought.
