About
Nora Ephron was a major figure in American romantic comedy. After studying at Wellesley College, she began as a journalist at the New York Post and wrote essays for Esquire and New York. As a screenwriter, she earned three Oscar nominations for Silkwood, When Harry Met Sally, and Sleepless in Seattle. She made her directorial debut with This Is My Life, followed by hits like You've Got Mail and Julie & Julia. A bestselling author, she published the novel Heartburn and the essay collections I Feel Bad About My Neck and I Remember Nothing. Her play Lucky Guy premiered on Broadway posthumously.
