Nataša Pirc Musar was born on May 9, 1968, in Ljubljana. After graduating from the Faculty of Law at the University of Ljubljana in 1992, she worked as a journalist and TV presenter before serving as Slovenia's Information Commissioner from 2004 to 2014. She later founded a law firm and led the Slovenian Red Cross. Elected President of Slovenia in 2022, she is the first woman to hold the office. Her priorities include the rule of law, human rights, and gender equality.
