Linda Maria Baros is a French-Romanian poet, translator, and literary critic born in Bucharest in 1981. She moved to Paris in 1998 and earned a doctorate in comparative literature from the Sorbonne in 2011. Her first French-language collection, Le Livre de signes et d'ombres, won the Prix de la Vocation in 2004. In 2007, she became the youngest laureate of the Prix Guillaume Apollinaire for La Maison en lames de rasoir. Her collection La Nageuse désossée received several awards in 2021, including the Grand Prix de Poésie SGDL. She serves as general secretary of the Prix Guillaume Apollinaire jury, vice-president of the French PEN Club, member of the Académie Mallarmé, and director of the publishing house La Traductière.
