About

Kalevi Sorsa (1930-2004) was Finland's longest-serving Prime Minister, leading four coalition governments between 1972 and 1987. Chairman of the Social Democratic Party from 1975 to 1987, he also served as Minister for Foreign Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister, and Speaker of Parliament.
