About
Judith Godrèche, born March 23, 1972, in Paris, is a French actress, screenwriter, and director. Active since 1985, she gained international recognition in Ridicule (1996) and starred alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in The Man in the Iron Mask (1998). A three-time César nominee, she published a novel in 1994, then moved into directing with Toutes les filles pleurent (2010) and the series Icon of French Cinema (2023). In 2024, she became a leading figure of France's #MeToo movement after filing complaints against two directors. Her short film Moi aussi was presented at Cannes in 2024.
