Jean Dujardin, born June 19, 1972 in Rueil-Malmaison, is a French actor, screenwriter, director, and producer. He began as a stand-up comedian and co-founded the comedy troupe Nous C Nous, which appeared on Graines de star in 1996. He rose to fame with the TV series Un gars, une fille (1999-2003). His role in Brice de Nice (2005) marked his transition to film. He played secret agent Hubert Bonisseur de La Bath in the OSS 117 trilogy (2006, 2009, 2021). In 2011, he won the Best Actor award at Cannes for The Artist, then the Oscar for Best Actor in 2012, a first for a French actor. He later appeared in international productions such as The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) and The Monuments Men (2014).
