Iliana Iotova, born in 1964 in Sofia, is a Bulgarian politician. She graduated in French and Bulgarian philology from Sofia University and also studied at ENA and the Centre for European Studies in Strasbourg. Trained as a journalist, she worked at the Bulgarian National Television (BNT) before entering politics. She served as a Member of the European Parliament from 2007 to 2017, and was elected Vice President of Bulgaria in 2016 alongside President Rumen Radev, then re-elected in 2021. In January 2026, after Radev's resignation, she became acting president, becoming the first woman to hold this office in the country.
