Frédéric Beigbeder is a French writer and literary critic born on September 21, 1965, in Neuilly-sur-Seine. After studying at Sciences Po and CELSA, he worked as an advertising copywriter, an experience that inspired his bestselling novel '99 francs' (2000), a satire of the advertising industry.
