David Harold Fink (1894-1968) was an American psychiatrist and author. Born in Detroit, Michigan, he practiced psychiatry and wrote several popular works on mental health and emotional well-being. His best-known book, Release from Nervous Tension (1943), went through multiple editions and translations. He also published Be Your Real Self (1951) and For People Under Pressure (1957), and co-authored Human Engineering (1924) with Otto C. Marckwardt. His works were published in both the US and the UK.
