About
Born Carlo Pedersoli in Naples, Bud Spencer became famous for his roles in spaghetti westerns and action comedies, often alongside Terence Hill. Before his acting career, he was a competitive swimmer, participating in the 1952 and 1956 Olympics and winning medals at the Mediterranean Games. He also earned a law degree and worked as a pilot, founding the airline Mistral Air. His film career began in 1967 with 'God Forgives... I Don't!' and included iconic films like 'They Call Me Trinity' and the 'Piedone' series. He received numerous awards, including a David di Donatello for lifetime achievement in 2010.
