Benjamin Edward Meara Stiller, born November 30, 1965, in New York City, is an American actor, comedian, director, and producer. Son of comedy duo Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara, he rose to fame in the 1990s with The Ben Stiller Show, which won an Emmy in 1993. He directed and starred in hit comedies such as Zoolander (2001), Tropic Thunder (2008), and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013). He also starred in popular films like There's Something About Mary (1998), Meet the Parents (2000), and the Night at the Museum trilogy (2006-2014). In 2018, he was appointed UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador, advocating for refugees.
