Ann Coulter, born December 8, 1961, in New York City, is an American author and political commentator. A graduate of Cornell University and the University of Michigan Law School, she worked as a lawyer and for the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee. She began her media career on MSNBC in 1996 and became a controversial figure in American conservatism. Author of numerous New York Times bestsellers, including 'Slander' and 'Godless', she is also a syndicated columnist.
