Andy Dick, born Andrew Roane Dick on December 21, 1965, in Charleston, South Carolina, is an American actor, comedian, writer, and producer. He trained in improv and sketch comedy at The Second City in Chicago before gaining television fame. He was a cast member on The Ben Stiller Show (1992-1993), which won an Emmy, then played Matthew Brock on the NBC sitcom NewsRadio (1995-1999). He created and starred in The Andy Dick Show on MTV (2001-2003) and played Owen Kronsky on Less Than Perfect (2002-2006). His film appearances include Reality Bites (1994), The Cable Guy (1996), Road Trip (2000), Zoolander (2001), and Employee of the Month (2006). He also voiced Nuka in The Lion King II: Simba's Pride (1998) and Boingo in Hoodwinked! (2005).
