Alizé Cornet, born January 22, 1990 in Nice, is a former French professional tennis player. Turning pro in 2006, she reached a career-high singles ranking of World No. 11 in February 2009. She won six WTA singles titles and three doubles titles. Cornet holds the Open Era women's record for consecutive Grand Slam main-draw appearances (69 majors, from 2007 Australian Open to 2024 French Open). Her best Grand Slam result was a quarterfinal at the 2022 Australian Open. She defeated Serena Williams three times in 2014 and ended Iga Świątek's 37-match winning streak at Wimbledon 2022. A member of the French Fed Cup team, she contributed to the 2019 victory.
