Alexandre del Valle, real name Marc d'Anna, is a French-Italian essayist and geopolitologist born in Marseille. With a doctorate in contemporary history and degrees from Sciences Po Paris and Aix, he teaches geopolitics at IPAG Business School and directs research at CF2R. Specializing in radical Islamism and Turkey, he coined the concept of the 'red-green-brown alliance'. Author of numerous works, he contributes to various media and co-founded the Droite Libre movement. His controversial theses have led to defamation lawsuits.
