Alexandra Morgan, born July 2, 1989, in Diamond Bar, California, is an American soccer player. A forward, she played for the United States women's national team from 2010 to 2024, scoring 123 goals in 224 caps. She won two World Cups (2015, 2019), an Olympic gold medal (2012), and a bronze (2020). At the club level, she won the NWSL championship with Portland Thorns (2013) and the UEFA Women's Champions League with Olympique Lyonnais (2017). She is also a children's book author and an advocate for gender equality in sports.
